Drake played chess with this diss.
Sadly, the concept is better than the execution.
The whole flow and cadence sounds just like Drake which makes the AI filter sound even more obvious than it should.
Also, the lyrics were a downgrade from Push Ups.
Still a cool concept for a diss though.
Drake aint no saint but it was obvious that Kenny was backed by umg and the fact that he cried to the pac state for a loosie on ig is nuts. The savior of rap teamed with 10 guys, started a beef, got $$$ and then dipped. Dont get me wrong, everybody is chasing a bag but I thought Kenny was a legit decent dude looking to change the game in a positive way. The fact that his fans justify all this is crazy too.
This dude unironically thinks Drake isn't still backed by the majors even though Nokia had a heavier push on pop radio than 85% of rap songs in 2025...
Besides the young girls line, the most obvious problem with this track is that it set Kendrick up for NLU and that "no debated West Coast victory". It's a direct juxtaposition from Push Ups, where he played the "get more love in the city that you from" card. By using iconic West Coast legends to diss dot, he angered the coast in the process and ruined a lot of good will built there.
It also arguably began what would become the "East vs West" narrative in this beef, with a lot of NY media backing drake because it evoked past feelings and remnants of the Big vs Pac fan war, leading to Kenny saying "niggas don't like the West Coast".
If Drake had more ammo in the cut it would be different, but knowing he just had Family Matters it wasn't needed at all
This one is great and hilarious, I don't get the problem with using AI for a free Instagram loosie where he's obviously mimicking someone else (legit purpose of these models) to mock someone. It's not like he had a writer to put a filter on his own voice.
Pretty sure this one was the one that stung the most too.
Lamest s*** ever and shows just how awful an artist Drake is
How are you not in the booth? It feel like you kinda removed
You tryna let this s*** die down, nah, nah, nah
the only thing i remember from this is when punch and the weeknd were randomly talking about bots and a.i literally right before this dropped
proved that the boy really had leaks in his operation
yall remember that one android video of the dude with the ozempic bottle and the hotel footage of the lil dude in the wheelchair
was that ever debunked or what even happened
Drake underestimated the f*** out of Kendrick. Nigga ass at scouting the competition
But you wrong for thinking that the boy got no precision
Might really start a petition
yall remember that one android video of the dude with the ozempic bottle and the hotel footage of the lil dude in the wheelchair
was that ever debunked or what even happened
Do you want to learn the truth?
🧩🌀

It was bs but folks were frothing at the mouth hoping Aubrey emptied the wheelchair nigga down a flight of stairs
This was actually so creative and cool. He lost the beef but this had Kendrick spiraling a bit and he has admitted to that

Cool concept for sure but why this nigga didn't even think to switch up the flow lol
He asked Kendrick to do it and Kendrick did it.
Doing what another man asks
Again, the problem is the hypocrisy. Kendrick was perfect in the eyes of the fans when that daughter track was mid af, also that lame cover with the glove and receipts. If you think NLU was a natural hit you clearly fell for the marketing, even my mom was getting that track popping randomly in between her playlists
When Life is good was playing after every yt vid it yall said it was bots and marketing but when NLU had the same treatment it was a natural hit, cmn
do you really wanna go down the “it wasn’t a natural hit, you fell for the marketing route” as a Drake stan?

You’re being a clown in this thread but begged to have your avi iced out. Stay on that side. Iceman on the way p****
Drake had no idea Kendrick was going to drop an absolute banger on him.
a generational one
