Best I ever had sounded nothing like 808s
those songs played a role in drake finding his sound. houstatlantavegas almost sounds like it could be on take care. Plus 40 cites say what’s real as the moment they discovered the ovo sound.
I give drake more credit than kanye for changing the sound of the genre, but 808’s for sure has measurable influence on his music.
