For those of u that know, I have a house in Arizona and a family shared city apartment for all us cousins in California (where im originally from). I travel back n forth from throughout the year n my main job is animal raising and training in AZ, then I do music engineering and sometimes production as a 2nd job online and in CA/AZ (I also sell on eBay, and do my own personal music stuff under my own artist name).

My AZ place is in a lil rural place right outside one of the 3 major cities in AZ partly for my animal job, and I get cool wild life sightings here in AZ time to time ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ™

It was so precious lmao, mother jack rabbits place their babies in specific areas for a few hours while they gather stuff for eating and for nest building. In areas they feel is safe on their usual route and routine, and one of the things you can tell if the baby jack rabbit was placed their on purpose and didn't get lost is if they refuse to move (otherwise they are very skittish). Their mother literally "tells them" to stay there no matter what else unless it's literally an attack.

So the baby chilled on my front porch for a few hours during an overcast day and refused to move lmao, it would only switch back n forth of the left n right side of my front porch's indented baseboard thing. It's a perfect spot too cuz it's snugged and it can see all sides to be protected from the weather and to see any upcoming legit threat dangers like a snake, which the snugged indent makes it hard for predators to get it too minus a cat.

I took pics and gave it a lil cup of water n checked around n made sure nothing was hunting it, n I checked on it every now n then. Then a few hours later when a dust storm was coming in, the momma showed up on my front yard porch camera and took the baby back. It was so dope and I felt very proud n "honored" the mother trusted my house and me/my animals with it ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฅน

    • When u see a baby rabbit/jack rabbit like this, DO NOT touch it, it is NOT abandoned nor lost in this instance, and your scent from touching can actually cover up its own scent that it's mother will no longer be able to find it - PLUS you BOTH could give each other illnesses. If you do see a legit lost/abandoned/injured rabbit, call the standard fire department number (not emergency fire) or (if you have one) a local wildlife org. ๐Ÿšจ ๐Ÿšจ โš ๏ธ

    Anyways, here's some bonuses:

A family of wild water turtles near this AZ golf course I sometimes go to with the homies and for business meetings

And a big ass bird that always tried to squabble up with my two toyger bengal cats when they were kittens at my AZ home

  • Arizona is mostly goated

  • Quality thread ๐Ÿฅบ

    Lil babiesssss ๐Ÿ’œ

  • Squabble up bird has me dead.

Saw two roadrunners today arguing about who got more ball game at a park basketball court

I was taking a break at a park from dropping off my eBay packages at the post office on my bike and these two roadrunners were chilling near me

When I got home there was also a vibrant orange lizard chilling on my porch's wall (same porch where the baby jack rabbit was chilling) by my front door but when I looked down to take my phone out to take a pic he disappeared like he never existed, wish I got it but he don't like the way I be snappin them angles ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿค˜
