drakes got another 10 years in him there’s no way he’s stopping until he’s strongly solidified himself as the greatest to do it in our lifetime
Two questions.
1. How do you know all of the specifics of these various deals?
And 2. Do you know how many albums are a part of the current deal?
1. I kinda knew details about the first deal he signed but then someone filled me in on details about the rest — I can't reveal who.
2. Either 5 or 6 albums. I'm not sure but I'm leaning towards 5.

He has already done that lol. Nothing more to solidify.

i meant more like make it virtually impossible for anyone to touch him

So does that mean DLDT, CLB, HNVM and Her Loss are 4/5?

Drake, statistically, has surpassed every other rapper. The only place Eminem has him beat is in albums sold worldwide but Drake has sold more records overall than any other rapper, not to talk about having way more hits than any other rapper.
He's already super-solidified in that regard.
Could he do more to further solidify that legacy with a run of great albums? Absolutely. But I feel like he's already there. People just won't acknowledge that because he's still active and has never taken a break.

Care Package/DLDT weren't a part of the deal but DLDT is credited like it is because it dropped when the deal was almost done. It ultimately didn't count because the deal ended up being for 5/6 STUDIO ALBUMS and since it was marketed as a mixtape, it struck out.
So anything Drake drops that he labels a mixtape/EP/playlist/etc from now till the deal is up would just be an offering for fans and wouldn't count under the terms of the deal.
I assume he has 2-3 albums left to go under the current deal.
Hope we get a deeper dive on the Her Loss sessions

It'd be nice if it was an informative interview.
Is Drake thinking of retirement?
Has he accomplished everything in music?
Does he still have the hunger, he once had?

From 2 albums for 40 million to 5 for 500 mil
New deal might be for 10 albums
Edit: or they not paying per album and gon recoup on that 500 mil by selling a s*** ton of merch, vinyl etc and put his songs in every movie and tv show since hes licensing his music to them/Universal

Yes

Yes
Really like this trend of artists interviewing other artists, lot more connection that way vs an interviewer just d***riding or pressing the artist for a reaction

I don’t think these can all be a yes. He might be tired of hip hop.

Her Loss literally his best rapping ever. Sharpest hes ever been. 5 different flows on each song, amazing bars and fun adlibs
the last one is a no
Not hungry yet drops 50 tracks every year. Ok
People heard this and said damn drake not as hungry as he once was

I don’t agree it’s his best rapping. I think his best rapping isn’t on any of his albums.
It was good music and good rapping but I can say that about most Drake albums.

We have different definitions of what good rapping is. He has never been this sharp before. Closest was IYRTITL Drake

Really hope we get an 8 hour doc one day from this man I know they got so much footage in the tuck

U can nitpick but every rapper has some meh bars here and there. Nothing terrible to the point that it ruins songs like Pop Style lol. Flows and delivery are incredible. He really got that energy in his voice back and is experimenting with a lot of tones
oh man we were starving for another real interview since rap radar
