Carti did not get nearly as much of the hate that Yachty got. He wasn’t really known to them during that period. Uzi got some of it but I think he was also protected because of his association with Drama and Cannon.

This album plays to his strengths more than anything dropped after Lil Boat 1. I do enjoy his work on MBB tho
