Doechii and Meg still have a heavy machine push to be known by people man its undeniable. Xenophobia isnt some great excuse when most of the top actors are not from here lol . These teens aren't FBA. Its a push by media and labels. The push by media and labels to when they are talking about top women rappers and never name some of the actual top women rappers instead naming those who play the politics or people want to see naked the most isnt some sort of random coincidence and you know this.

How the media speaks or doesnt speak of women rappers matters. Yes they take breaks but they drop great albums some barely talked about by major publications.

"Doechii just got here" Anxiety dropped years ago and then repopped for radio. She won album of the year for a mixtape . Music blasted everywhere and for a bit an abundance of stories daily reminiscent of the chance era.

I dont think the record label job is to control discussion , stifle competition, get award show performances and push the same songs on infinite rotation on radio. To the point some of the best women rappers if you asked in a high school right now they wont know the truly skilled ones. Just what they are fed. Indoctrinating the youth of college, high school and young women to only know certain artist. So that 10 years later thats all they know and they try to listen to other artist and hate it because its too challenging for them is just dumbing down a generation.

We didnt have this level of control in our generation because when we were in the car as kids we only so much controlled the radio if at all. We listened to music at home via youtube, cds from library and limewire. The push was what was on mtv. But people only sat on MTV for so long

Now the push is social media in all forms, radio, memes, suggested music and playlist. Then when the media does have top women rapper discussions we consistently dont see top women rappers on there so of course they have mental health issues or try other genres

If you are undeniably crazy skilled at your craft and not getting looks because you dont involve yourself in the childish drama. You would be annoyed too. Their album sales, concert sales, album ratings dont reflect how much they put into their craft
