Anarchists been rocking in Cuba since before the MLs, they even helped Fidel in the revolution (Anarcho-syndicalist unions), but they were repressed as usual.

The Cubans opened up a lot of their industries to private investment, so non-MLs are right in their assessment that ML states always degenerate into bureaucratic authoritarian social democracy that doesn't abolish state capitalism nor the state itself but you can even argue that it's been that from the beginning. It's always failed.
