Shokugeki starts off amazing and just gradually goes downhill. I still f*** with Soma as a character I like him but yea I didn’t like the direction they went with the story either. I wanted more of a gradual thing with through the years he climbs up the elite 10 etc etc, but nah they just threw that out the window.

I still have a lot of season 3 and season 4 left but I really hate when the “twist” early on in season 3. Just felt it was done for no reason at all and it made the show not as good.

It’s length hasn’t 100% been confirmed yet. However, the new WIT Studio anime, Great Pretenders, will take BNA’s timeslot in July. And Great Pretenders is already confirmed to be 25 episodes. And Beastars Season 2 will potentially take the slot again after Great Pretenders.

So it’s safe to assume that BNA will only be 12/13 episodes right now, and not a split core series. Unless it switches to airing the rest on Netflix or something after it’s done it’s television run.
