not even like i dislike the part so far, just never read Jojo until now and i’m finding the animation really pulls it together in a way the manga doesn’t imo. doubt i’d like any of the other parts as much as i like their animated counterparts either.

Yes, the anime is pretty bad at the beginning. Manga is better all around but the anime has really good episodes for the big fights.

I agree, the animation of part 5 really managed to elevate it as a whole.
Part 6 has glaring issues tho, one of the biggest is that the fight choreos are terrible compared to other parts, you need to decipher a page for way too long to understand what's happening, I love jojo but I could write an essay about why part 6 is so bad to me. If you enjoy it more power to you tho.

finna start Re:Zero today, also been slowly getting into Demon Slayer. i thought the latter was too much of a stereotypical shonen to be worth watching, but the character design and fight animations are straight bliss. it surprised me.

also does anyone here watch Bungo Stray Dogs? it seemed decent to me based on two episodes, but idk if i should keep watching

It gets better the depper you get into it cause it provides more depth to each character and organization.

it's def worth watching. I may have to pick up the manga when I finish the latest season
