Wtf is gantz btw I’ve seen images of how gruesome it is, but no one talks about the story, is it good?

Honestly, the absurdity was pretty fun but that last arc kinda jumped the shark and ruined everything. Even before the last arc, the story was a mess. You could tell the author had no idea what he was doing since a BUNCH of plot points were brought up and literally ignored and forgotten by the next chapter (e.g. clones, vampires, brother, etc.)

Just finished it and yeah agree on everything, but I still think the greatness from the first arcs still makes it worth a read. And even tho the last arcs were such a mess, it was still kinda entertaining lol

Ya, I feel ya, I ragged on the story but I still enjoyed my time with it. Osaka arc was definitely my favorite, and even if the arcs occurring after that one were really messy and not that great, they still had its moments like the completion of Cherry's character arc.

First half is such a joy to read when you dont know where it's all headed or how certain characters will end up by the end

most gantz fans dislike the ending (from what I've read online) but personaly I think it's the best ending this crazy series could get

anime wise, I suggest you check out gantz:o
