After reading black clover and chainsaw man weekly I finally realised that I cant tolerate stories bout magic and devils

even if its fiction it can still mess up my mental state (just like any magic book can)

I'd rather read a psychological thriller or a funny shounen

Let me explain

I like relatable characters and well-written stories

most of my life I've been looking for the not-superficial things in movies and books like life lessons and different point of view from different cultures

I like the go-beyond-your-limits/be the best themes in shounen while also appreciating the exploration of the depths of human existence in seinen/horror

now, the reason I'm against the concepts of magic and devils is because all of the above lose their well-natured-purpose that art has with these concepts

In my opinion art is a gift and blessing from God for our 5 senses...not a devilish tool for an infected imagination

Started happiness but dropped it after a few chapters cause I just didn't like the setting. But I loved the art and the characters so I read aku no Hana by the same mangaka, and that s*** was dope af

I'm 30 chaps deep in this horror/zombie webtoon called Sweet Home and I f*** with it so far....the monster designs are funny but not goofy and there's a few elements of dark comedy in it like the movie ''Shaun of the dead''

I’ll add drifting classroom as well it looks interesting been busy with school so haven’t had the chance to read much. I’ll also be looking to get into webtoons soon. There’s one called Winter Woods that looks cool. I’ll add Sweet Home to my plan to read as well
