Lately, most manga I read somehow end up with an adaptation
happened with dorohedoro, JJK, tog, chainsaw man, jigokuraku, tokyo revengers and I kinda miss the surprise feeling from anime
not making the same mistake with shaman king
You ever think about how absolute garbage Bleach power scaling is?
Was watching a reaction to it and Jesus itβs so bad.

Itβs horrendous. The show is cool as hell but consistency with anything outside of that is up in the air

it was cool when we were young. Ichigo was one of the coolest shonen mc. Let's keep the good memories

Yea the moments and forms cool af ignoring how bad they are in relations to plot and scaling. Plus the character designs.
I hope you niggas watching Slime too.
JJK my favorite new series though, might pick up the manga after the anime season.

I'm on episode 11 and I'm having a blast
the dragon ball gohan reference when gobta went up against the lizard chief was dope plus the character interactions have the right amount of silly and mature
I fw it
@lilkuya
Just a heads up. Save yourself some time and never watch Eureka AO. Its 24 episodes of absolute trash

Spent the last 30 minutes downloading viruses onto my computer looking for the tomozaki ln
Gonna start mugen no juunin after some of the talk itt about it tn
They ruined it for sure. Eureka 7 still a classic though
I'm not a huge Momoe fan either but wouldn't you say that's an oversimplification of her trauma?
Her trauma isn't that she's a tomboy. Her trauma is that she feels like she cannot be herself. The last time she embraced her girly side it led to her friend's suicide. To stop that from happening again, she's overcompensating by shutting away her girly side, but that conflicts with who she truly is. Everyone sees her as a guy, so it's meaningful to her when there is finally a man who sees her as who she wants to be, a girl.
i understand there's more to it. i just don't find what they are doing with her remotely compelling relative to what i was anticipating when she was first introduced.
the entire premise for her character is weird because it parallels transgender commentary pretty blatantly. last ep was especially awkward to me by introducing an actual transgender man then killing him off just to reaffirm that not only women find her attractive. i'm sure you could argue that this fits with the message, but considering how rare trans representation is in mainstream japanese media, is this not tonedeaf as hell?
the writers are killing it with rika so i'd like to imagine they are competent to a degree. momoe's character just went in a really confusing direction that i've completely lost interest in.
@basedspirit unless you're referring to the crude phrasing i'm not sure what the issue is
