New Shonen Jump series this week is looking like a big “Yikes” from me

Sadly there’s a huge debate in a manga forum I’m in because of this series.
The debate of whether or not sexual assault is acceptable in manga/anime

Well it’s an action manga about fighting Zombiies
There’s a one shot for this manga that’s out.
A “running gag” in the one shot is that he gropes her puts his hands through her hands down her pants a lot, she gets upset and freaks out, and then hits him or something to knock his head off(he’s zombie).

And it’s done under the pretense of “well he’s a zombie. So he doesn’t understand that you’re not suppose to do that”

I disagree tbh.

Looking at Shonen Jump specifically, a lot of the modern series like Kimetsu No Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, Black Clover, etc. don’t include a lot of situations with the female characters being assaulted or harassed.
And when a series does include that sort of stuff, like say Mineta in MHA, it’s heavily criticized now, and Mineta started getting significantly less panel time as a result.
And then series like Fire Force where one of the biggest criticisms was P*** Cat constantly being sexualized every episode.
It’s still a thing, but I think we’re slowly moving away from it now
