I just quit my job at a mental health agency I been at for the last four years. Think I’m gonna become an electrician, apprenticeship, classes etc.. for a few years until i get my license

I could’ve went down this path, but the company I worked for was a couple of unhinged racists with absolutely zero respect for their employees.

I got the Job along with 3 other friends. They all got to do the real electrical work in new construction while I got stuck working with this napoleon complex redneck missing a thumb doing the construction side of the electrical work (putting conduit down, bending them, chipping holes through the ground because my manager couldn’t align the holes on each floor right).

The owner gave us each 3 books about code, ohms stuff and something else. Same guy who’d walk in on us working and call us “chickenfuckers”, one time he saw that I bought myself a seat that I can roll around on to wire electrical outlets and save my back. He told me not to use that s*** cuz he didn’t have to. Lame ass mentality.

I ended up getting fired cuz I cut thru the main power lines of one of the apartment buildings which I guess was super expensive….and I couldn’t died, that s*** lit up in my face so bright I was in shock (no pun intended)

Another crazy part about this arc (pun intended) is that we found out one of the managers (the coolest one actually) fell from 5 stories high and died when he was by himself at a site one day like way after we all got fired.

Edit: almost forgot, the chicken f***er guy turned out he wrote pirate novels, I s*** you not. S*** makes me laugh every time
