Another reason to hate AI

Some youtubers have posted AI videos of them 'using' the new MPC, it's just AI videos they've edited & it looks bogus as hell
But these hacks really posted these videos like they really did something

The words on their AI generated MPCs are all made up hallucinated words
In one of the thumbnails the MPC had 20 pads

I hate folks who post bad AI videos that think it looks professional, they are the tech version of dudes who wear excessive Bigen & think it looks good

Looks way more fun than click point and stretching but I know I'd never use it enough to justify the cost

I used to run my beat sets on the Live but I’ve been using rekordbox the past 2 years.

Ideally, I’d like to route my laptop -> MPC -> mixer and have XYFX affect the audio coming in from my laptop but this is f***ing impossible

I like it when it is done perfectly and add to the artistic sound, or a little ghosting of the sample not being stretched properly

The MPC Sample just released and looks like lots of fun

looks interesting - i like the idea of having a small format MPC like this

i guess the pad quality would be really important here tho

I'm not rushing to get the MPC Sample any time soon as an Koala/DAW user but it's really cool!

Man I wasn’t considering getting the Sample since I have a MPC Key 37, but I wanted something a bit more portable, and almost got the live 3.. just for the portability

But seeing this…. I can save sooooo much money and get this. I’m already happy enough with the Key

Yeah I was thinking the sample as well, she might be limited a bit compared to the One+ but that limitation may be needed to foster good skills lol

Thats why I wasnt sure,

I know the newer generation are addicted to screen time and new technology so was originally gonna grab that for her, but the limitations on the sample might foster more creativity just like the old school MPC’s used to.

My first was an mpc 500 which was dope because it was portable, but had its limitations and allowed me to create so dope s*** on it

Thinking about it now, i might aswell get the one+ because I have a bunch of the plugins and expansions on my account so she could use them aswell

i wasnt going to get the MPC Sample (i have a key 37), but i think the portability of it would make it really fun to mess around with while holding my new born daughter when she is here in a few months. maybe ill even be able to make her laugh or smile with it eventually

now i just gotta make sure i can find one when when it comes back in stock lol. cant believe its all sold out. didnt realize the demand was so high

Just copped it. Got a raise at work and saw some other people messing around with it with their babies in their lap and then saw another dude who had his 2 yr old daughter playing with it. That put me over the edge lol
