What do we do about so many people identifying as furries these days? I feel like the powers that be are trying to normalise s***with animals (see also the memes about white women having s***with dogs... remember how they tried to make incest fetish acceptable through jokes/memes a decade ago and it half-worked). Even if you don't think furries are inherently sexual, you have to admit that it's an unhealthy escapist fantasy for someone to pretend to be a cartoon animal their whole life. Maybe we need to teach people to have a better self-image.
