To those who have used Stage Manager for iPad, any free video player that plays videos properly on external displays?
Tried VLC but it doesn't properly work with stage manager. Haven't tried on paid ones as I don't have proper answers whether it works on them.

bro it's the damn apple music native widget, WHY can't they make it work properly, IT'S THEIR DAMN APP DEVELOPED BY THESE ALMIGHT GENIUSES AT APPLE...

it's been more than a week that I'm seeing my widget not updating (the Recently Played one), it's showing me an album I DON'T EVEN HAVE ANYMORE on my phone, but hey when I play something, the widget updates, only for it to go back to that album I don't have anymore, when I close the music app...

yes I did tried to remove and add the widget back, doesn't change s***

debating whether to upgrade from my iphone 12 at the end of this year or to get a battery placement and try to ride out another year or two. while im a tech enthusiast i really don't have high demands of my phone, just like to browse the internet, occasionally play a stupid mobile game and message people through social media. tbh my biggest motivator for upgrading would be better refresh rate, camera, and battery of course. im open to any insight if anyone has any

So I went from the 12 to iPhone 15 pro max. My 12 battery percentage is at 78% . If my speakers didn’t go out I would have definitely waited another year and got the 16 tbh.

If you’re waiting until the end of the year definitely get the 16 or whatever when it releases. It’ll be worth it

cool thanks for the input. a new battery would run me like $80 but tbh just using the built in iOS apps and other basic tasks have gotten painfully laggy so thats whats pushing me over the edge. ill keep my eye on 16 pro news

The backhanded changes are so petty and honestly there is just so much red tape, nobody is going to seriously develop apps outside of the App Store. This is malicious compliance 101. Users and developers have to jump through too many hoops to make apps outside of the app store just work.

@OP I was wondering about this. Apple said Emergency SOS would expire after a year and it hasn't. Turns out Apple extended satellite connectivity for another year. Feel like I completely missed that announcement but it's nice to know that it's still working:
