Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Cecily Strong will lead Bronstein’s new series, which draws inspiration from New York Magazine’s article “The Nanny Squatter.” The show centers on a couple whose lives unravel after they welcome a seemingly perfect caregiver into their home. As personal boundaries erode and power dynamics shift, what begins as a straightforward arrangement escalates into an increasingly tense and unsettling struggle for control.

Bronstein will write and direct the series and also serve as showrunner.

I had no idea that the third Safdie bro was married to the director of If I Had Legs I'd Kick You

Will be there for JLD. And promptly stop watching if it's not good

Yessir. if I had legs has the same DNA and Ronald/Josh were producers

  • Woah cool. Love to the two lead choices and the premise. Excited for Mary

Apple TV is a great home for her

  • I hope she approaches this the same way as If I had legs.

I like the anxiety inducing nature centered around everyday life and not having to rely on crime or violence.
