I can’t stop laughing at this forced politics in this Ted lasso episode
the Nigerian player tweets at some politician to allow immigration
The lady goes on national tv and tells him to shut up and dribble
He calls her a bigot
Then his sisters restaurant gets broken into and destroyed and they spray paint shut up and dribble on the walls
Then he cry’s in the locker room and the team rally’s behind him to fight this politician
Then his father meets up with him and tells him to ignore her, and to not fight back… fight forward
Amazing

This was Disney Channel ass episode
I liked this episode but it felt more like a spinoff than the penultimate episode of the series lol. I get its a drama, but it feels almost directionless right before the finale? Nate has been kinda quietly redeemed behind the scenes but has had basically 0 arc with Ted and the team
I have no idea where the finale is going to go, but in a bad way lol. I always assumed Ted would go back to the states but I don't feel like that has really been set up
And the captain doing that just cause he was upset his teammate didn't tell him was so dumb lol
this season has been such a drop in quality imo but that ep was rlly solid. god this show is so much better when it puts most of its focus on the team.
Man this episode was great. Season was very meh at points but they’ve pulled it together well and it feels like they’re going to end it about as well as they can.

sometimes this show really does feel like a PBS special
Why was the first half of that episode so bad and the second half so good wtf
I came to post the same thing
Feel like he’s gonna go home but I’ve always felt like that was gonna be the ending.

Think that’s his news for Rebecca tbh. But I bet they win it all on his way out (obviously)
knowing how this show goes he'll get a redemption and probably end up managing richmond
Oh no…

CRYING
This season is all over the place. I don’t know what half the seasons storylines are for.

It feels like they weren't sure if it was the final season or not until halfway through production lol. Sam's restaurant storyline feels like they just needed to give him something to do. I would have rather had him leave in Season 2 to be a captain of a team in Nigeria. And maybe had them play a friendly as an excuse to bring him back an episode. Could have had an emotional goodbye and tied it back to him having a relationship with the owner of his club lol
Nate and Keeley having storylines almost entirely removed from the cast makes it all feel so disconnected. Nate's redemption arc was just bad. It was so isolated it just doesn't feel earned. Keeley and Roy breaking up off screen was that same bullshit they tried with Jim and Pam in later seasons of The Office
Was I right
They legit setting that up to be what happens the final episode
