If they’re over original beats then yes. If it’s over well known tracks then no, it’s far too easy to take a hit and add a few nice verses imo. It’s a cheat code, like remaking a movie

Rappers put in hard work on there mixtapes. Some artists use original instrumentals which more or less makes it an album just without the commercial pull.

For like Kendrick it wouldn’t rly make sense to include Pre OD cuz no one listens to them and they were clearly dif parts of his life
