Nah I think the bosses in Elden Ring are the worst of the PS4 era games. But the world is obviously amazing. It's just a different kinda game to me.

he's cooking. Game needs some serious balancing. You either gravitate towards tank + gatling or speed + zimmermans. You delete all the trash mobs in the blink of an eye, and enemy AC's get washed within 30s too. The bosses provide a challenge but eventually you get good enough to wash them too.

I'm still very happy with the game and I think their next AC games will improve upon this in so many ways like ER did to DS1, which has me hype that they've picked this genre back up.

Armored Core is great but I would also like to see them go the ER route where they build upon what they've got but change a lot too. I think by chaining themself to the established franchise setting they might not be able to be as creative as I know they can be.

Im liking it its not blowing me away or anything but its pretty good.

Game is amazing tbh, has its challenging moments early on but the entire time you’re made to feel like a once in a generation AC. They really make it feel like you are the singular force to change the tide for whichever side you pick.

Just got the Fires of Raven ending and damn this is really the bad ending, they did not need to have me fighting my girl Ayre

Yep that s*** was OD. IMO though that prepared me for every other encounter in the game. I don’t think it’s the hardest per say, but the difficulty spike is highest there.

I’ve been running AR + Zimmerman all game. Far from the best weapon but I enjoy it

I run a similar setup with Linear Rifles instead, they feel nice but the bosses with a lot of HP I sometimes just have to swap the LR for another Zimmerman or the fight would take too long

Yeah I noticed that with some bosses melee or dual wielding shottys would have ended it quicker. I’m halfway through chapter 3 now so I’ll probably switch some stuff up
