Discivering Ween, Butthole Surfers and Primus as a young teen helped make me the re tard I am today
Great stuff
@onedeep any particular residents album
Their most acclaimed/accessible album is probably Duck Stab (1978). After that is Commercial Album (1980), which consists of 40 one-minute songs. My favourite is The Third Reich n' Roll (1976) which is a medley of 50s and 60s rock hits performed in German/caveman language, hilarious to listen to, one of my favourite first-time listening experiences.
After 1980 they go overboard on the weird concept albums/'random' humour, not really worth listening to
Stumbled on this band Pram, they use tons of weird instruments like toy pianos, Hawaiian bubble machines?, glass hammers, triangles, etc

The Residents. Specifically their early stuff up to Commercial Album (1980)
the 80s stuff is great too. I love the Mole arc
Just got into Mr. Bungle
