He had two successful projects and acid rap is one the biggest tapes lmao n his fanbase was gigantic - i was there in teal time since 10day/juice music video.

No what f***ed him is literally taking so long to drop his debut that teased since acid rap

On top of his albums literally being that ass

He was so huge lol but he kept f***ing around then when it finally came to his debut people been begging for he did one of the worst flops in rap history

Dont rewrite his massive success and his own f*** up

I said this before but I trolled Chance back when he used to respond to Youtube comments back in 2013.

I posted a comment under "Prom Queen" calling the song trash as a joke.

Chance responded to me saying that that it was okay and that everyone has different tastes. Bro was positive about it but it still came off passive aggressive somehow lol.

He came up at the worst possible time, i dont think the general audience under trump wanted someone positive like Chance, then he doubled down on it with the wife s*** cuz in all honesty his album wasnt that much worse or better than any of his other projects imo

Nah his 3 era was so goated. His I love my wife s*** was just bad musically. That's simply it. He thought he could cook up anything and people would eat it

Name three Taylor Swift songs off any of her last two albums lmao

Sabrina is here today gone tomorrow

me not being a big fan of her and purposely not listening to her doesnt change the facts

hits are hits flops are flops im not making an opinion statement

Charli’s breakthrough is a perfect storm of the fact that there’s zero good mainstream pop artists right now. TSwift has been flopping like crazy and Sabrina is a two-hit wonder

This user gotta be British lol

I dont think charli was ever “failing” she was signed way before fancy and boom clap, had a solid 2015 after and then started making music with the pc group all of which is considered classics to hyperpop fans and then Brat

How can a duo that got dropped from their label 4 years ago and broke up entirely 2 years ago be "new wave"? They were Lil Pump era artists. That whole era is oldhead now. They're also both over 30 years old

Commercial placements mean nothing. 90% of songs in advertisements are from no-name artists

    could never make good songs?

Charles was a bit niche but XV had crazy crossover appeal from unique beats, catchy hooks, verses with content and features from his peers who went on to be stars like Kendrick, Wiz, Pusha & Sean. Even had well received full bodies of work like Everybody’s Nobody, Zero Heroes & Popular Culture

He had all the ingredients except a major co-sign like Cole, Cudi, Drake, Sean, Wale & Kendrick had

Charles had Brooklyn Girls at least. XV had zero "crossover potential" lol ya'll are hilarious on here. He had some cool tapes. A ton of rappers did, that doesn't mean anything. He couldn't catch a single to save his life that's why he was infinitely shelved on Warner.

Whatever you say man. Charli xcx is a product of bots and industry placement. You cracked the code.
