misery loves company..
share a bad luck incident that happened to you that feels insane (not something common like getting a flat tire)
i once locked most of my belongings in a room that had a freshly installed false ceiling (made of gypsum board)
the combo of no ventilation, damp ceiling, and cramped room created a mold s***show in under 2 weeks...looked like a scene from TLOU .
brain damage from a bad batch of molly

same but from some dumb b**** texting and driving and running a red light :/

hugs
i hope you're okay man. I definitley see how head injuries have changed people's personalties, since it happened to me I have become more impulsive and quicker to anger plus my sleep is non-existent.
for those reading - test your s***

did they tell u what to expect from the damage? or are u sort of realizing changes as u go?

honestly i wasn't really told much. or I dont remember if i was lmao. its been five years and my memory is dogshit. takes a long time to learn things, and I forget what I did yesterday/last week and can't remember until someone helps me or i see some photos i took or notes I wrote down. honestly its f***ed up my sense of self worth to a major degree
being born w a ticking time bomb on your brain when thatβs only 3% of the cases for it
Kicking the ball while playing kickball in elementary school and it somehow hits the disabled girl right in the head

whats this condition called?!
A couple years ago, I had an interview for a job downtown and when I was a block away from the building, a pigeon shat all over me while I was walking under a CTA rail
Didn't even bother going into the interview, I just went back home lol
my turn again.
2 months ago, just about to leave dog daycare with my dog and i see a cute husky. not a regular at the daycare , but what could go wrong?
with the owners back turned I approach the dog to pet the lil fella and he bites my palm HARD.
owner aplogizes, resssures me hes had all his shots and that i realy should have asked first (fair, its a known rule/etiquette)
5 minutes later i collapse on a chair mumbling "hospital"
i felt fine an hour later.
they give me a rabies shots over a 3 day course... and anti biotic cream
wasnt even that bad of an injury but def left a permanent mark. i think i collapsed from shock + fear of rabies
for anyone curious the doc told me it takes around 60+ hours for rabies to actually kick in if a rabid dog bit you , its not like you have to sprint to get a shot instantly or youre f***ed
Broke my phone and got my wallet stolen last night
sucks.
i feel like stolen wallets today are less hassle than before cause no one carries cash and you can cancel your cards
hopefully u didnt see any card activity π«ͺ

Replacing my IDs really the only annoying part. Plus $100
They only got off about $25 at some store before I cancelled everything

bro real life memento (2000)
Left lung "spontaneously collapsed" in 8th grade during second period and put me out of school for like 4 months, I would have died if I didn't go home and straight to the hospital
It was weird af it was like a 20min process where the lung first slowly deflates a bit and the air escapes and it literally caused a bubble and "bump" in my shoulder next to my neck and one of my homies noticed and was like "wtf dawg I think you should go to the nurse" then it got worse as time went on
Half of my lung fully collapsed, it recovered a lot over the years but there's still a quarter of it collapsed right now that will prob be permanent forever

i once put my passport inside a duty free bag (stupid college years) and my friend boarded the plane with my passport. this was during transit at london heathrow.
i refused to board cause i couldn't find the passport in my pocket or backpack. told them to go ahead and ill stay in heathrow and ask security to help me. they took off.
i ended up being questioned by security cause they thought i was playing them and seeking asylum. eventually they figured out what happened and made me board a flight home next morning after i slept in a waiting room π
they give you this pink slip thats like a single-use passport to go home
