hmm hard to give recs not knowing the ppl rly ngl. for me rn I've been checking out a lot of cinemas, there's so many really cute old ones. also just so many lil music venues, but I don't go to rock concerts much, more to the lil clubs etc

Just to be a tourist I'd direct them to Hackesche Markt, get a Mustafa's Gemüsedöner and stroll around Museumsinsel maybe lol. Döner is like our national dish, Gemüsedöner is a Berlin original for sure. Turkish and Vietnamese are two of the biggest minorities and supply me w food the most tbh lol

around Alexanderplatz is def the most soulless area, if you keep north from there there's tons of cute streets and pubs etc. also depending on weather there's a big Späti ("late-y") culture, lil 24/7 stores on pretty much every corner selling beer. you can just take one to go, hang out in one of the countless parks around etc

I've crashed in my fair share of hostels here which can be fairly cheap and are usually very ok tbh. honestly it always changes what's affordable I just look on booking.com. one of the nicer big rooms with good location was hotel Die Fabrik in Kreuzberg ? also really depends on where they're playing and wanting to get to easily tho tbh.

I was gonna go to Utrecht to plug in my mix in person (it was gonna be prerecorded eithe way tho) and go w her to Le Guess Who fest after, first time we would've met in a year after slowly becoming friends again after 6 month break. but yh nahhhhhhh she's a f***ed up person and stinky on top, she belongs to the SKREETS

she's already blocked everywhere. unfortunately still had to work with her over mail to send mix bc it was her invite, she works for the Synthese Fest in Utrecht. hope this is the last time I ever see her face.

Yeah I just lucked into networking with some guys that had alot of pull at a time where Vancouver is slammed with a ton of projects. Usually takes years to get where I am after a couple months. Fully expected to spend years working on projects that I didn't give a s*** about but landed on the goat Sorkin's Social Network sequel right away

It's funny cause almost nobody else in the crew realizes how legendary he is. Wrote alot of the best scenes that the best actors of all time performed.

just uploaded to soundcloud the version which aired live, I improvised a ton. I was still recordig my prerecorded mix until 20:05 and stream started 20:00 lmfao. I sent 2 files of 25min to my ex to play. this is just both these files.

but still I think it turned out perfect. I'm keeping it as is now cause radio is more fun messy and live anyway.
