During a very tense time in Jamaica, Bob Marley was very vocal about supporting one of the political parties and had a concert set up to bring the parties together. 3 days before the concert--he was ambushed in his home by a militia(where or who sent them still debated, most say CIA). Bob's wife was shot in the head but miraculously survived. Bob got hit in the shoulder but survived too and 3 days later performed at the concert anyway
