im looking for great ANC, sound quality, comfort and especially a clean fashionable look

so far ive tried:

• sony xm6: not that comfortable imo, amazing anc and good sound quality with a rather boxy/cheap look
• bowers & wilkins px8: amazing sound quality, pretty comfortable but a rather average anc and i hate their look
• bose quiet comfort ultra 2nd gen: super comfortable, good anc and pretty good sound quality with an alright look
• sonos ace: insanely comfortable, good sound and amazing anc (esp. transparency mode), also look super clean

im tempted to just go w the sonos ace cause they seem like the perfect fit for me but i would rather hear yalls opinion first. Are the airpods pro max possibly worth it? any ones i missed that i should check out?

Price doesnt really matter but i cant justify spending like 700/800 on b&w px8 s2 when the px8 are up for like 300 for example

That’s funny cause exercise is the only time I use Bluetooth headphones

these + better pads are unbeatable, that sound signature is really the sweet spot for me

i have the regular bose quietcomforts. i really like them, they feel like a cloud

I got the xm6 and kinda wish I just got the AirPods Max. I miss the AirPods level connectivity more than I thought I would. Don’t love the design but I do like that it’s more muted than the AirPods which are a bit flashy

i use wired headphones on my setup whenever im on it and sometimes i just wanna hop in bed with my ipad n comfy bluetooth headphones smh or when im working out

Happy with my Sonos

I owned Pro Max and it is the worst when it comes to comfort but best in ANC. Sold that after couple of months use and bought Sony XM5

I don't have comfort issue with my XM5 and for me it is overall best when it comes to over ear headphones and can use it for longtime use

Never used bose or sonos but they seem like both are very great and don't think you'll regret buying either

But in 2025 I mostly just use my wired earbuds for everyday use and I use my XM5 whenever I'm flying for ANC. Don't really care about ANC other than flying

Try the AirPod pro maxes, they might surprise you but definitely won’t be as comfortable as some of the others you’ve tried. I wish you were down for wired and/or open backs because I’d have a lot more to recommend you, looks like you’ve already tried the best options for what you’re looking for. My personal pick would be the XM6 but if you like the Sonos then run it, comfort is very important
