Alc has a LOT of mid. And a lot of his newer work sounds very similar. At least Pharrell usually tries make something fresh these days even if it doesn’t always land. Pharrell also has higher highs

Like I said, anytime you see “The Neptunes”, both Chad and Pharrell were involved in the production. In My Mind came out the same year as HHNF and there are clear credientials that says one album was fully produced by Pharrell and another that involved The Neptunes.

Like we’re not going to try to change history to fit a certain narrative today bro and we are also not going to disrespect Alchemist when Pharrell has had A LOT of help. Alchemist has produced DOZENS of great projects and if given a choice, I’d rather visit hundreds of songs and dozens of projects by Alchemist than the 3 or 4 all-time projects done with Pharrell and The Neptunes. I’d take the 3 Clipse albums (TTCD aside) over anything alchemist has done. Outside of the Clipse albums I’m not a massive neptunes/pharrell fan. But if given the choice of the 3 Clipse albums not existing or getting rid of any alchemist produced album then alchemist would be gone
