Travis is never topping Scorpion. His last album didn't even pull up to 350 million US streams first week. In comparison, Views did 275 million US streams from Apple Music ALONE back in 2016. Kendrick might break the 500 million US streams mark with his next album but it'll depend on a bunch of things.

Drake is the biggest streaming act in the world: in the US and Globally.

This all started in 2016 when Views dropped exclusively on Apple Music for 2 weeks and Spotify didn't get the album until the third week. Biggest album of the year and Spotify missed out on capitalizing on that.

The following year, More Life drops, but this time, it's not an Apple Music exclusive and Spotify gets it the same day as Apppe Music.

Drake is the only artist both platforms ever release their first-day numbers for because he always breaks their record whenever he drops a new project.

Both platforms go out of their way to promo his stuff when it drops because they know the press they get when he breaks records on their platforms. They also use his albums as a way to get more subscribers by bombarding people with notifications to subscribe to their platforms so they can listen to the new Drake album.

Spotify did that thing with the multiple playlists because Scorpion wasn't available on their platforms for the first few hours after it dropped. Apple Music has playlists as well and Drake is far more dominant there but they never did anything like that because he never asked them to. Same with Spotify, lol.
