What’s this got to do with the mission
If you read who I replied to he said “he fingered his wife” and I simply explained why he only fingered her.
Basically the replicas were limited on what they can do, therefore that’s why they didn’t go to space.
So from what I'm reading online the consensus is that episode 3 and 6 are the best ones??
Yup
Beyond
Demon 79
GOATed
I liked the cinematography i liked the idea of a young couple going to film a documentary just sounds fun in itself and the whole let’s explore the mystery what could go wrong thing. but i like found footage films and that type of horror so it was easy for me to like it. also liked the whole set up of them meeting this brash but likeable friend in the bar and all that… still left a little bit to be desired though i do think it had some good world building like part fiction part non fiction
Ok ok, I see you, that makes sense
I really like the performance from the mom, I think that was my favorite element

Oh I’m only joking
Though I agree with the initial point: they could easily make replicas to accommodate the specific mission. The reality they lived in could do this very easily

Oh word word my bad. But yeah I just figured that was the logic they was tryna get across that they were limited. Plus you have no episode if it was reversed.

If they fleshed out the Universe, I’m sure you’d find replicas in deep sea diving excursions, as farm hands in the blistering heat, a few deep in mines, etc.
Seems silly to waste that technology on just socialising
At no point did they hint at the replicas limitations. They could handle weighted and fine objects like a bat and a pencil

I agree. It’s almost, to me, they didn’t do it because they tried and found it was ineffective. Doesn’t ruin the immersion for me but I am curious tbh
Edit: Ngl there’s also no f***in story if they did this

she had one of the best acting moments imo i don’t know exactly where it was in the episode (middleish) where she was very upset but it was some great acting

well it was supposed to be in 1969

But I mean from an executive standpoint would you rather send real life humans to space or AI technology that might shut down and fail? Obviously real humans have the risk of dying, but that’s just life, but while in space handling an important mission you’d probably lean towards emotional intelligence from Humans to get the job done first.
And I swear they hinted towards their limitations. Ain’t that why bro couldn’t have s***and only finger?
Fries from England look absolutely dreadful

Classic Jonboi W
This time the W is for Wanker

Yeah an alternate timeline where 1969 is like our 2069 “alternative 1969”
Jon never had fish and chips smfh
Let’s not say all that
My bad, my brain is stuck on American mode

That’s true but I suppose it depends on the risk. Why risk a human life if you don’t need to? Their work didn’t seem all that dangerous but it definitely seemed repetitive and detail orientated enough to send a robot up there IMO
And Ngl I dunno why they didn’t just add a d***
Damn episode 3 stuck wit me. A concept I definitely wish I thought of.
Could’ve went in so many different ways.
