HaroldsChickenCrazy how good this looks when I don't even know this developer is. Well there is a bunch of devs I don't know lol but I at least heard of a lot. I heard someone say this may be their first game crazy if true.

This isn't trying to be an open world jack of all trades master of nothing (I haven't played it so I won't judge just going off what others say)
This looks like it knows exactly what it wants to be. A simple linear, cinematic 3rd person action game. Probably 12-15 hours with some amazing set pieces in the vein of naughty dog and SSM. People who've played it are very impressed. Just will have to see if the game will sustain the fun for the entire experience.
Obviously to your point there is a chance this under delivers 🤷

I’m just saying to be skeptical of some random Chinese niggas popping up with a Naughty Dog level game, if it’s really legit though more power to them
Jun 13HaroldsChickenMan lol God of war, last of us and assassins creed are dope in ways but I do miss when games were trying to do a lot more new . Less focused on heavily scripted moments . Have to see more but I respect anyone putting 20 minutes out no hud too is so clean
I like how enemies can attack while you are in a different animation or can use near by objects but something about it feels heavily choreographed.
Rooting for it as a new ip just less my taste
Really does look heavily scripted and the trailer feels like it was designed specifically to be unveiled and shown off rather than it being a snippet of a game they're actually making
Before his brother helps him, the brother and the other enemy are just standing there in the background waiting for the sequence where he runs over and helps him to begin
