Yeah I love Blu but I said back when they announced the last B&E that they’re watering down the brand by not giving that series the attention and care it deserves.

Blu simply drops way too much music in the in between time and without giving that pen a break it comes out sounding like just another random Blu project lol. Doesn’t help that he’s kinda stuck in this gangster rap /every word has to rhyme and that’s all that matters phase.

Tbh Exile should have kept it real with him and put some kind of embargo on B&E albums after that Blu Evidence joint washed Love the Ominous World.

Prob has something to do with that track originally being for Mach x Black Thought album and getting repurposed for this

I liked both albums but that EV joint is one of his best projects imo. Idk I don’t think he sounds bad tho I think he’s just been leaning into this flow for a while.

I really like this. Feels like that last one was the growing pains to get to this tbh. They really got control of the sound.

The Bag is nuts. Love hearing Blu do his kinda singing thing again on Hard Times.

Lazy Afternoon sounds like it could sit on Give Me My Flowers. Perfect blend of old and new.

In My Window is so good though Blu has done this same reminiscing track a few times lol the quality of the song makes up for it.

Title track is really dope Blu has always had a real talent for picking features and letting them shine.

Good to see Mach Hommy feature back on here too lol and again I really love their work with Ahmad Anwar he starting to feel like a member of the group fr.
