No matter what happens with this Tyson/Paul fight, it's the end of the road for circus fights. And what's crazy about this fight is that, it's one of the biggest boxing fights of the year, but it also exposes how there's not much actual interest in boxing right now as a sport, at least from a US standpoint.

This Paul/Tyson fight just feels like the most lowest common denominator thing, this whole thing is "WWE" in the worst way possible. A cheap entertainment event, everyone will watch but no one really cares about. US Boxing is really a circus attraction right now, they basically had to give this fight away to get people to watch.

But on the brightest side possible, I think the "Jake Paul experiment" really distances itself from actual combat sports tonight, no matter what happens. After this, Jake is forever a sideshow in the eyes of the public, its downhill from here tbh.

The circus of fighting MMA guys who don't professionally fight in gloves and boots, and over the hill guys, has ran it's course as a real attraction. He can choose to keep doing this, but no one really cares about it.

He's the opposite of Mayweather, he's not revered with alot of haters. He's a weasel, doing weasel s***, and people get to see him "weasel" his way out of another situation tonight, at no cost. There's no value in this lane anymore, he's gonna have to lower himself each fight after this.
