Plant fought a good fight,not great but good,against Canelo. Canelo just had the harder shots and he had more determination to get the KO. I think Plant started getting complacent with a decision and thought he was gonna get over the hump.

The way Canelo was throwing,he was eventually getting caught. Plant still showed a lot of skill against Nelo tho,that shoulder roll had him off for some rounds.

Plant fought the best fight he could without getting slept early. He definitely showed he can box well but what’s the point of boxing well if you can’t get any significant strikes almost at all. It was obvious he was being way too pre-cautious to be effective and had no power at all with his jab.
