    so k/j pop is really just like a stand in for people who don’t want to engage with hip hop culture, it’s always pop Stan’s going on about these guys someone enlighten me if I’m being reductive

    the reductive part is when u said sum abt “people who dont want to engage w hip hop”. some people just like pop lol, has nothing to do w a disrespect for hip hop. my girl keeps up w all the kpop news, but she still listens to rap most of the time. and even if someone wasn’t listening to rap that doesn’t make them less deserving to be a fan of pop music, i mean it’s a whole separate genre

  • before i sound defensive let me make clear i think these people steal a whole lotta s*** from hip hop and deserve some hate for it lol. the fans are just being pop fans tho and thats fine for the most part
