Back when they were grinding they could do that but why do it. I would argue that the Griselda albums, although, great lack hit records and have little to no impact on the genre as a whole.

How many records have Griselda sold? How many hits records do they have? Did you take the time to look at their streaming numbers, or try to calculate how many limited edition vinyls and cds they sell? which they PRESS THEMSELVES with limited time merchandise with every single drop, they sell out as soon as theyre put up

How much impact have they had on the genre?

Why don't we ask any of the mainstay artists in the game what they think about Griselda, or radio hosts and personalities for a poll to see how much of an impact they've had

How diverse are their Artist? How many different type of demographics do they hit

As younger artists, they made music that was inspired by other artists and some of them made club music, benny particularly used to imitate wayne a lot, much like other artists have done. With that said, demographic comes with time as a label expands, if they choose to explore that route. Roc a fella didn't really succeed in many other lanes until Jay turned it into Roc Nation.

How many Grammys nominations, or Grammy award won have they achieved? Or any other award.

Again, something only time will tell. Mixtapes can win grammy's,, but as of right now, they don't have what many would consider Studio albums.

How many of their albums can you honestyky say make a top 100 album in hip hop of all time? What about top 200? What about top 300?

Flygod is widely considered one of the better albums, its up to an individual where albums are placed anyway.

How many critically acclaimed albums do they have?

They've only just began to start catching the eye of critics, so either they will go back and rate their older work, or start rating the newer work.

How many classic albums do they have?

again, some would consider Flygod a classic.

yeah that 2010-2012 run is great but how is that relevant to the topic? We talking bout right now, if it's Griselda's entire discog vs TDE's I'd say TDE easily.

They don't make hit music, and they don't need to, it's simply great music.

i agree, but at the same time, the question is posed as could they? Fill in the blank really, doesn't have to be TDE. Potentially, yes, they can, depending on how they move.

There is no sign of any of them even reaching schoolboy Q level of popularity. Other labels such as QC, OVO and dreamville would make better arguments.

I'd disagree, I think most people would agree that Benny has the potential to reach Q's level at least

And that is a great comparison honestly, Benny's shows arent quite as hyped as Q's, but my homie said the show he went to was pretty close to one of Q's shows he seen too

How? H and B was Q third project. Benny has put out almost 10 projects since he started rapping bro and has no signs that he could make a hit record.

so we just going to act like Schoolboy Q didnt have schoolboy turnt hustla and Gangsta & soul huh? youre comparing EP's and mixtapes to studio releases and independent release albums as well. Tana Talk 3 is borderline independent album, but its technically a mixtape

The question is can Griselda surpass TDE? Not if they are making more consistent music. To leave out everything they have done and then say that they have passed them in a few years doesn’t make sense.

There is no way to compare them at the moment because Griselda doesn’t sell album or even have hit records. The only comparison you can make is when TDE wa sup and coming They just release underground music like Currensy and it has little to no impact on the overall genre

the question really is do THEY HAVE to? and does it have to be THEM? they could easily find a more introspective rapper to sign in the future that could drop similar pieces of music

with that said, thats a tall order and it would be hard for ANYONE to top those two albums
