    rise zero

you can use a controller on a PC lol

But why get a PC then?

Rather get a console where I know once I get the game it will run flawlessly without worrying about how good my PC will run it or will it overheat my s***.

PC gaming is stupid to me, I'm sorry

Because you want the best possible performance that’s the pc advantage

Lol I’ve never worried about any of those things

What? People have weird stereotypes about PC gaming

F*** that, rather get a gaming console where I'm comfortable while playing, knowing my s*** isn't gonna overheat and shut down or force myself to lower the performance to play without problems.

You don’t have to lower the performance, it detects your hardware automatically and adjusts your settings. this isn’t f***ing 1995

I don’t have any overheating problems on my pc but I do on my consoles lol

Sounds like your entire understanding of pc gaming is misunderstandings

Still though, sometimes you feel like you need to lower it down a bit to keep a stable framerate or keep it from overheating.

Don't have to worry about none of that for atleast 7 years with a console

Edit: my understanding of PC is probably off, since I haven't played a real game on PC since I was a kid, but let's me real...a console is more comfortable imo

For a lot of people it's just not that serious

I game to just chill with my friends, s*** could be playing 360 games idc. Console just easier to have and takes up less room, u buy it and have a TV, you're sorted

Only reason to want a console over a PC is either cuz you broke or cuz you wanna play the exclusives tbh

    Socially inept opinion

Pc vs console is just like iphone vs andriod People simply like using what's convenient and easy. Gaming is casual entertainment for people, not everyone goes hardcore to care about pc specs for gaming and wants to have a two monitor desk setup. Casual players aren't going to alienate themselves on pc when all friends are on console

niggas buy one rgb keyboard and question console players

That’s true but the main thing it’s gonna hold back is game design. With the PS5 we’re gonna be getting games that flat out weren’t possible before, whereas it seems Xbox is gonna be offering the exact same type of games we’ve been playing for years now

    Xcloud launches in Sept.
I can't find the article, but Microsoft stated that there's a possibility Xbox 360s could run next gen titles on it and it would be included with Gamepass This shouldn't be a problem for devs making games for the next gen at all. Xcloud is in beta rn running off of Xb1S's and is already ahead of the Google Stadia.

    Tl;dr
you don't even need a next gen XB to run the games. Just a controller + gampass ultimate/xcloud membership

lol let’s not kid ourselves, the “innovation” in “game design” from launch/immediate post-launch titles is going to be arbitrary at best, and nonexistent at worst.

let’s have this convo in a year when games that actually utilize the full potential of these consoles are dropping

That's bad for players tho lol.

Instead of buying and owning your game and playing it whenever, you're gonna have to pay subscription fee every month just to play it.

You don't have to buy it. I don't own Xbox pass. And it's cheap as hell too either ways. I still have my Xbox one and if I can play infinite on there then better for me. Besides I've completely moved to pc so I'm staying there
