Well it’s much easier to point to a cultural moment like the Rihanna incident rather than start with a full decade plus of other questionable s*** after the fact tbh. For the record I was willing to give him a chance again when Rihanna forgave him in the early 10s, but he’s consistently shown he doesn’t regret anything and continues to act like a jackass and then on top of it doubles down like this constantly. Like how many chances does he expect to have? At some point just have an ounce of humility

Yes but majority of people, especially casual music listeners, don’t cite all of those incidents when trying to cancel him. They just say he beat up Rihanna, which is only a part of the story in and of itself.

Again, if you don’t rock with Chris for all the other stuff, that’s understandable, but most people either don’t know or don’t care about all those other things because they don’t involve another famous person
