clipse aint do no damn 112 , definitely botted … was projecting at around 90 as early as this morning
Wasn’t the 90 projection just the same one from last weekend? Since then they did Joe Budden which has nearly a million views, fantano 10/10 which nearly has a million views, podcast with joe and jada that has 600k, did Fallon, chains and whips video.
Going from 90 before that and 110 after all that isn’t really surprising. They kept promoting it after the 90 projection, obviously it would go up.
I mean I’m sorry for my ignorance
It’s the best album that’s dropped in 2025

botted numbers across the board
Also, being more commercial doesnt necessarily mean the same audience you had 10 years ago is going to stick around and buy your product in 2025. When you get to a certain commercial threshold in music, you’re picking up fair wind fans who are more so there because they consume music within the framework of what is popular at the time. Those consumers don’t necessarily stick with you when you’re not as popular.
Your base does unless you chase the fair wind fans’ attention and then you may lose them too.
Album does well = look at the numbers
Album does bad = Its about quality who cares about sales
Like pick a side. Yall be flip flopping.
They might even end up making more money from album sales than Travis with JB2.
Is this the Scarves from KTT1, real ones know
Wayne doesn't have a single album better than Lord willin' HHNF or this new one. C6 is f***ing embarrassing too.
Idk It’s a good debate.. Carter 2 is up there tho

I mean the humans projected to do bad at all tho. You can celebrate an album doing well and still care more about the content of the music over sales

Clipse LGSEO did 118K first week.
Lil Wayne's Tha Carter VI did 108K first week. This is insane for them.
For perspective, the last Clipse album released in Dec 2009 and did 31K first week.
Lil Wayne dropped Tha Carter III in June 2008 and did 1.005M first week.
Incredible numbers for Clipse (relative to their previous sales)... and in respect to Wayne - how the mighty have fallen.
I thought numbers didn't matter?

If this album did 30k first week, the same people in here s***ting on Wayne's numbers would come up with every excuse as to why Clipse's numbers were low.
lol Clipse have never been anything close to a commercial juggernaut and the people at Roc Nation are aware of that. That’s why the sales numbers are crazy. There’s absolutely no one at roc nation that is thinking Clipse selling 112k first week is a failure. If there were, they wouldn’t have even entertained partnering with them.
HHNF only sold 70k week one.
Clipse are a testament to cult following, a strong fan base that might not be huge but are really in love with the music, and strong music that people retroactively go back to in order to understand why they are relevant.
I’m saying like do people really think Roc nation jumped on to promote this project because they saw dollar signs? It being successful doesn’t mean it’s botted either niggas throwing those claims around on any project of an artists they don’t like lol.
It’s a return album of a duo that helped define an era and like you said they have a cult fanbase. Not to mention the music is good and Push solo career has also helped bring in new fans as well.

Oh nevermind I see you mean in general
Niggas who spend their adulthood ona music forum calling Clipse fans “nerds” because they like one artists over either

it’s always funny how this usually the usual suspects’ defense when it comes to artists they don’t like being commercially successful when they’re always the first ones clowning people’s album sales/ bringing them up in the first place
Just like when We Got It From Here dropped and people gave ATCQ their flowers numbers and engagement-wise, I'm happy Clipse is still getting big love in 2025
Artists sticking the landing on comeback albums is the best thing ever in music

Same way Drake fans are coming up with every excuse why WDIM didn't get #1. Just the natural line of thought if you're addressing the numbers for an artist you like.
Stop caring about sales unless you directly profit off the project or had a part in creating it

Not really.
