This album is pretty much the epitome of mediocre. Some really good beats here but I’m not a huge fan of the performances here. Everybody’s a bit TOO laid back, too nonchalant that it comes off more boring than cool. Dc2trill, draft day, & camo are all offering sort of the same experience here. Rap groups are great because each person brings something different but I don’t really get that vibe here. Nothing here is bad but it’s also just not great either. Yachty… I’ve never been a big fan of so of course his performance on this album doesn’t do much to impress although I do really like ALL THE SAME. For some reason that song really works.

The newcomer, Honest, is actually the most interesting rapper of the bunch to me. Not everything he’s doing works for me but I like the outlandish sort of style, the different voices, the pitched down vocals at times, the flows… all that stuff makes the songs he’s on more exciting and unpredictable.
