So bully has been out for a while… love that s*** Yknow it isn’t quite a Kanye/Ye classic but I enjoy it solid 7/10 material and I’m still listening to it but I’m asking myself… Cuck. WW3, Cousins, and Hallelujah. Maximalist production on Hallelujah while also seeming to move into a lofi hip hop territory with cousins and WW3 I thought this had massive potential outside of the evil tid bits. Anyways let me know what you think was this the direction you desired or are you happy we got bully instead.

Man im a big Ye fan but even I never heard this project--apart from a lil snippet on twitter of Cousins
heard word HH beat is a banger, though

At least AI Bully sounded like Ye to me, this clearly sounds like Dave Blunts the whole time
Kanye fans just want controversy and not quality music at this point.
I see it more as a what could of been
WWIII one of my favorite post-mental breakdown songs post OG 80 Degrees. Really unfortunate what the subject matter is because sonically this was a very cool album just deplorable lyrics that you can't even listen to really
classic
Just listened this week to a couple “songs” or remakes ppl have uploaded on YouTube of some of the tracks.
Dark matter has one of my favorite beats / samples already, could’ve been a great track in a different era of his. There’s as expected a lot of flagrant lyrics. I actually enjoy the chorus lyrics though (dark matter, anti-gravity, I’m really floating on em), and the flow on the first verse.
The King of Soul / Jared also has an incredible beat & sample usage. The song’s production sounds hauntingly evil yet a little bit beautiful with the vocal chop sample. The lyrics are f***ing stupid of course, though (the laughing gas lyric aside— I actually enjoyed artistically how brutally honest him admitting open d*** addiction & his trauma in Cousins was)
I really like cousins because I am a huge double Virgo fan lol, weird to see such a mainstream artist make such outsider art. Even if it comes in the midst of a mental breakdown
That’s all I’ve heard and really care to hear for now, but those two songs have beats that are stunning imo. In an ideal world he’d have not said any stupid s*** but still used these tracks for an aggressive, horrorcore adjacent, outsider music album.

I wanna link the remake versions I listened to on YouTube, but don’t want the lyrics really associated with my posting. Lol.
