Some of this s*** not easy to unlearn when you went your whole life being taught one thing as much as people would like to act like it is

but that’s not what people are upset about

what’s upsetting is that dude doesn’t wanna unlearn it
He doesn’t give a f*** he’s just making himself the victim instead of trying to be better

Nah it's actually pretty easy to unlearn when you stop caring about what other people do with their lives that isn't affecting yours and learn people have a right to love whoever they want as long as it isn't on some pedo s***.

Thing about Eminem was he was the #1 rapper in the world at the time where Rap was the counter-culture in America. Homophobia was the norm as well. Every other rap song had the f slur. A lot of the hate he got wasn't even from the homophobic comments but for polluting the minds of the youth.

Now rap is the culture, someone said it in another thread that the Hip-Hop industry is now "The Man" we used to fight against. It's not even close to comparable situations. Back when Kanye dropped TCD he was the bold one for saying that there's a lot of rampant homophobia in Hip-Hop, and that we should be better. Lot of people just never grew past that and are still holding on to their right to hate.

    Like it’s that f***ing easy

I get how it can seem like an agenda or whatever given how many people are saying s***
But literally all he had to do was actually recognize he did wrong, apologize and take some time to do better in the future

S*** if he did it right he could get gay people actively supporting him he was already tapping into that base a little w the dua song

bruh, not even the Dua song, the black gay community LOVED DaBaby's music, especially his collabs with Meg.

I don't think people realize how much black gay folks f*** with hip hop and want to support these rappers and black music in general. Thats why its so disappointing when s*** like this happens. Them niggas rocked with him and he doesn't give enough of a f*** to think about this for longer than 2 seconds.

Yeah I’m sure Elton John who’s been a huge advocate for aids is faking his outrage to cancel some rapper for no reason seems super likely

Especially because the LGBT community is so strong, if you disrespect a few thousand, you will get kickback from the entire community, even people that don’t f*** with you or your music. Which is why dua rushed to pull him from the track
