Thomas is not fond of playing a robot character in a world where robots are destroying everything. I think he also desperately wanted more freedom to experiment which is a lot easier when you can show your face and don't have a brand to protect that's always looming over you. I think he just was unhappy and felt it better to cap it off while they were ahead.

Hearing Thomas drop the Escape from New York theme in his set right in front of my naked eyes was absolutely transcendental lol
