Just getting to it, but even then if it pays off (which can be a great move, a slow burn start but with a great turn around is welcomed) it really feels like doing HOURS of those stupid extreme replay missions in mgs v just to get to the story here, but with even less fun as there’s literally no interactions to do or anything challenging or entertainment value? how does it justify it?

I’d like to get opposite opinions because even if it picks up it seems weird for me to pretend to ignore there’s two chapters of absolute nothing

And I’m not even mad or hating I just feel left out like I’m missing out on what makes this the ground breaking promised “new genre of gaming” years in the making experience?

i don't think this game is a "new genre" it's just enjoyable. The first two chapters do lull you into a false sense of security then from Chapter 3 onwards s*** starts to go left.

The beginning of Chapter 4 was one of my fave experiences in gaming this year tbh

I do see little by little some sense of its uniqueness I’ll say that, and how, by that fashion, Kojima said it would be something new, it’s .. subtle.

And I’ll tell you what, the cutscenes are really cool (if anything this almost feels like Kojima really wants to push the door to cinema with his connections) and the score is great

32 hours in and i just started chapter 6

You get the same orders over and over. I didn’t realize at first, I thought they were always new but it shows you in the corner if it’s complete and what rank you got. I guess it’s so you can try to get a better rank?
