I get that the hype was somewhere between manufactured and real. A new artist coming from a region where the underground has been bubbling and ushering new sounds, while also producing his own work is enticing.

I’ve seen his name around for a year and him saying his album was gonna change music and clicked his project thinking it was gonna be some abstract post-Frank inspired s*** and its just more distorted noise music with low effort lyricism

Imo it paid off. Honestly the first rapper of the rage era to actually conceptualize on an album and have it pay off.

The writing is phenomenal, his production is phenomenal, and it’s all very compelling even if it isn’t meant to have a surface level appeal
