it's interesting to me that a lot of folks find the production choices on here unfitting, bizarre even. i think it's all so tight and works so well together. it's been a thrill every time i've listened.
the choices are intentional and methodical

Yeah the more I listen to it the more I’m in love with the production choices and it all feels so intentional and well thought out
its to refreshing to hear such a loving and joyful album in todays landscape. dijons emotion is infectious, especially when you can relate
its the perfect follow up to absolutely in both narrative and sound that all flows together so well. cant name another album from this year with equally impressive writing, production, vocals, composition, everything is great!
i gave this a listen. wanted to like it, just dont think its for me. its like certain types of wine, know its good just my palette isnt there yet. will give it another try this weekend
So excited for this tour man, I need that setlist bad
That little pocket he hits when he sings “I love it when you tie my tie…around my neck” is so fire man
Apparently my man is about his pops?
I thought it was a song written about dijon himself through joannas perspective
Or maybe he meant it is a double entendre. Either way, hes on another level lyrically. Hes very literary with it.
For a 9.0 I was expecting something mind-blowing. Pitchfork got me again
Live with it for more than one listen
