Can’t choose one or the other. I could say I’ve probably listened to both albums equally as much. Diplomatic Immunity is the Heatmakers in their prime, that marquee Dipset sound and they just had crazy energy on this album. All the group joints with the original 3 are fire Santana really shined too his solo joints on here are crazy. And Cam shows why he’s the leader of the movement, highlights all over the album
Purple Haze is also Prime Killa, but not as commercial compared to Come Home Wit me it’s got everything I wanna hear from Cam in one album. He got the Heatmakerz on there he got Ye (and Brian All day Miller) on there, He showed homage to the Midwest to Cali and still sounds like Harlem! Purple Haze has so many classic Killa joints on there imo.
You can tell musically they were locked in during this whole era on both albums.
Suuper close and hard to compare because compilation vs solo album but Diplomatic Immunity wins based on un kasa bars
Love both for different reasons. Having a hard time choosing between them. I Really Mean It, Who Am I, and I’m Ready are all f***ing crazy songs.
But…I might give the slight edge to Haze. Cam is my fav Dipset member and Purple Haze is just when his delivery and flow is perfect to me. Absolute buttery smooth and the internal rhyming is addicting and catchy af.
Also Purple Haze got Killa Cam and I own the CD so…
The one that lets me hear Juelz talk about Mohammed Atta and the towers
Username to avi to post so off the charts, SEAL Team Six got the IP on lock
Purple Haze for me, i think cam on that album is the best rapper of all time
Diplomatic immunity is amazing though, cam is at his peak on that too, and juelz is also at his best. Jim has some great verses too.
Diplomatic Immunity has more bangers but i think purple haze has better deep cuts, every song on purple haze is good imo
Both are top 10 hip hop records for me
