almost always try to listen at least 3 times
more than that if im enjoying it
If it's digital, just keep it in my library. Why not? It's in the cloud, not taking up local storage.
And of course, only buying physical formats of albums I intend on listening to again.
I try to but there's a lot of albums so sometimes I forget to try it again. I know my opinion doesn't mean s***e if I only heard it once in the background and it didn't grab me
for sure. i think a problem incentived by platforms like rym/lastfm is that it encourages some people to listen to a ton of albums so that they can log it or say that they've listened to it in order to feel "cultured". which is technically true but yea your opinion is kinda worthless if you've just skimmed thru it one time. its better to listen to like 30 albums a year that you're actually digesting instead of listening to 100 albums that you're not taking in fully. need to remind myself to go at a sustainable pace, theres a lot of albums out there but you have a whole lifetime of listening and dont have to jam pack everything in at once

Think you have a digital library confused with a streaming subscription
