Theological determinism is a form of predeterminism which states that all events that happen are pre-ordained, and/or predestined to happen, by one or more divine beings, or that they are destined to occur given the divine beings' omniscience. Theological determinism exists in a number of religions, including Jainism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. It is also supported by proponents of Classical pantheism such as the Stoics and by philosophers such as Baruch Spinoza.

Does the existence of God we do not have free will? If God is all knowing then He can see into the future. If He can see into the future then He can see how an event will turn out before it has happened, meaning it is therefore destined to turn out in one way and one way only.
Does this mean that our actions have been determined before we choose them, and does this eliminate the idea of free will?
No, but I lean towards determinism in general
Not that it really matters. The human brain is wired to believe that it’s a free agent and acts accordingly.
Theological determinism does not exist in islam
Look up the Umayyads and the state-sanctionned doctrine of Jabriyya

that interpretation makes no sense

im not debating that, but it clearly has a basis in islam (or at least in its development)

i read karl marx when i was an atheist teen. i'm 35 years old now and agree more with theological determinism than the belief that we have free will.
why
because it was easier for me to practice buddhism and taoism for many years once i accepted everything has been predetermined. i'm a non-religious agnostic theist now and still influenced by catholicism/christianity, buddhism, and taoism. i've been blessed after appreciating the experiences i've gone through.
Agreed. Philosophy is as boring as religion.
agreed. i'm still influenced by them.
i'm just glad i don't have to do anything else to enjoy the blessed life i'm experiencing
