Spider-verse didn’t even properly utilize 3 of the Spider-Man variants to any unique in depth character arcs for me as compared to Infinity War which has a arc for almost every single side character in the film

But to me where IW succeeds where Spider-Verse miserably fails is giving me a feeling of an ensemble cast being all treated to their very own unique journeys and never feeling like it’s side lining anyone.

Spider-Verse very much felt like they utilized the 3 other variants as comedic relief more then anything

Kingpin didn’t feel as fully fleshed out as i would have liked as opposed to Thanos

The best things about Spider-Verse are it’s main protagonists and their journeys, and it’s very unique animation style that felt completely fresh and innovative.

I meannn to be fair, IW has like every Marvel character in existence and is a peak of a 10 year saga.

Spiderverse is the 1st film in an animated film series, with an animation style that is very tedious to make .
Not to mention a lot of people see animated films as "for kids" . Which is why the movie didn't do the numbers that live action comic films do

Both top tier comic book films though

so apparently this is disappointing? damn. sucks cause Strange is my favorite mcu character at the moment.

The reviews seems like a mixed bag of okay and great . Based on marvel reviews that seems like an okay range considering it will probably be a point or two higher for fans
